Class sizes are limited, so it’s best to reserve your space early. All classes must be paid in advance. Cancellations must be made at least three days prior to class time. If later, it will result in forfeiture of payment. A minimum of five students is required for a scheduled class. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and your class fee may be applied to another class or fully refunded. We have a limited supply of tools to share. Please, if you have tools, bring them with you. Tools may be purchased the day of class. Receive a 10% discount off any jewelry supplies the DAY of class.

Classes |

Class instructions will cover the basic information needed to start beading, including finishing techniques for necklaces and bracelets. This workshop includes descriptions for using beading tools and findings. Learn to use different mediums such as memory wire, stretch, leather, silk and wire to string your pieces. You will create and design a project from start to finish. We will demonstrate a basic wire wrap technique.

Jewelry Design I |

Learn the basics of wire wrapping. We will teach you several types of wrapping including earrings, pendants and wire wrapping chain. Top drilled stones will never again be a challenge.

Wire Wrap I |

Kathy Finnegan is our Pearl Knotting Instructor. Come in and learn how to use silk thread to create perfect knotted jewelry. She will teach you several knotting techniques to use with pearls or any of your favorite beads. You will learn how to finish and clasp jewelry strung on thread. During the class you’ll make a simple knotted pearl bracelet to take home. Your confidence using thread will open up endless possibilities to incorporate in your jewelry designs, using traditional pearls or more contemporary, floating bead designs. Class costs: $50.00 4:00pm to 8:00 pm

Pearl Knotting |

The amazing brilliance of Dichroic glass is achieved by vaporizing metallic oxide onto glass sheets. Multiple layers of the treated glass create an amazing spectrum of colors in different patterns and textures. The cut and stacked pieces are fused in a kiln and further annealing, grinding and fire polishing result in beautiful and unique jewelry. The class is open to all jewelry making skill levels. Susie De Rafelo is an artist trained in jewelry making and has taught for several years.

You will learn the basic forming , texturing and finishing techniques to produce your own original treasures made of 99.9% fine silver, a higher grade than sterling silver. Almost any type of jewelry component can be made from this material. Susie De Rafelo, a certified PMC is an artist trained in jewelry making.
